Behavior in Balance is a private ABA practice operated by Dr. Madeleine Keevy, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D) and licensed behavior analyst in the state of Tennessee (LBA). Behavior in Balance offers behavior assessment, behavior therapy, and caregiver training services to meet the behavior support needs of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities including autism.
Dr. Keevy works with individuals on personal and meaningful behavior change goals to help strengthen skills related to dealing with life stressors, managing social interactions, and moderating unhelpful habits or self talk. Therapy is based on evidence-based strategies of applied behavior analysis and the goal of therapy is to equip the clients themselves with the tools to engage in adaptive, values-driven activities in pursuit of their personal goals.
Therapy services are provided in community-based settings such as the client's home or group residence. Telehealth services are also available depending on client needs and preferences as well as insurance plan requirements. Services are available in and around Shelby County, TN
Depending on your insurance plan, diagnosis, and behavior change goals, our ABA therapy services may be fully or partially covered by insurance. We are currently in-network with TennCare (Medicaid) plans and some private insurers including those offered by Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. Reasonable out-of-pocket rates are also available for clients with limited insurance coverage.
